[rus] Целью брендинга было объединить города Золотого кольца в единую систему, комфортную для потребителя и его путешествий.
[eng] As a designer, my goal was to unite all cities of the Golden Ring by a single style: simplicity of a design solution is derived from complexity and difference of history for each city
[rus] Метафорой проекта стало условное изображение города на географической карте. Знак повторяется в логотипе столько раз, сколько городов входит в состав Золотого кольца России (10)
[eng] The Golden Ring identity is based on a conditional image of the city on the geographical map — dot plus the city’s name. The logo contains ten such dots which represent ten cities and ten tourist stops accordingly
[rus] Логотип и знак города задают сетку для мелкой типографики, которая напоминает «хаосную» типографику карт.
[eng] Both logo and the city’s sign creates grid for the typography. It reminds chaotic typography of the maps themselves
Кострома известна как «Родина сыра». Здесь производится знаменитый «Костромской сыр»/ Kostroma is known as a home of Russian cheese. The famous «Kostroma cheese» is produced here
Суздаль известен богатым наследием деревянного зодчества/ Suzdal is known for its rich heritage of wooden architecture. The picture shows a souvenir puzzle depicting one of the city's architectural landmarks
Ярославль — родина первого общедоступного театра. Основываясь на этом факте, в рамках фирменного стиля были сделаны афиши для Ярославского театра Федора Волкова/ Yaroslavl is a birthplace of the first public theater. Based on this fact, I made posters for the Yaroslavl Theater of Fedor Volkov
